Whether you’re a novice or experienced rider, visit the Motorcycle Safety Institute of SA (MSI) website for a list of endorsed academies and riding schools throughout Southern Africa.
The various training centres offer courses designed to teach you the correct riding techniques from basics such as clutch control, hill starts, cornering and using gears correctly, to essential safety training such as risk awareness when navigating through traffic, braking in varying road and weather conditions, as well as safely swerving to avoid obstacles.
Certain specialised courses are also available for more advanced riders looking to improve their skills or build confidence on less familiar terrain or style of motorcycle.
