The SHOEI NXR joins a list of brand new helmet designs and technologies from the Japanese company over the last five years and has been specifically designed for high-performance sports riding. This ideology of innovation has continued with the NXR and delivers solid aerodynamics, crystal clear vision through a new Pinlock CWR-1 visor system and enhanced integral ventilation that effectively exhausts hot air for the ultimate comfort at the highest speeds.

Features:

• Compact Design - The NXR boasts a newly designed shell - smaller in size, this new slim and light shape is realized through the use of a redesigned shell baseline on both sides.
• Quietness - The reduction of wind noise has been improved by restraining the cause of noise. This has been achieved by the improvement of wind beading and utilizing larger cheek and ear pads.
• Visor System - The NXR utilizes a completely new visor and base plate system. While Shoei's world-renowned design for hassle free fitting and removing of  the visor is maintained, the base plate can be adjusted front and rear by rotating a dial.
• Effective ventilation Performance - Three straight hole intakes in the forehead  - 4 outlets located inside parts realize air exhaustion that is improved upon from the XR-1100.
• Moisture Absorption Quick Dry Interior Fabric - Advanced fabric with high moisture absorption and quick drying properties is used throughout all of the interiors.
• Pinlock Fog-free Lens - The NXR comes supplied with Pinlock Fog-Free lens.

Sizing: 

To determine which helmet size fits you best, measure the widest circumference of your head using a flexible measuring tape or piece of string; approximately 2cm above your eyebrows and ears as illustrated below. If your head measurement falls between two sizes, it is generally recommended to select the smaller of the two.

For maximum safety and comfort, take note of the following points when fitting the helmet (and securely fastening the chin strap):

• Helmet may take some effort to slide over your head, but should not be overly difficult
• Should fit snuggly around the crown of your head without creating uncomfortable pressure points
• The top padding presses on the top of your head
• The cheek pads press against your cheeks, so that your teeth touch the inside of your cheeks when opening / closing your mouth
• There should be no space to slide two fingers between the helmet and your temple
• Hold the helmet on either side and without moving your head, try to move the helmet up and down, and side to side. It should not be easy to move and you should feel the skin of your head and face being pulled
• Your eyes should be located in the center of the helmet's viewpoint
