The Metzeler MCE 6 Days Extreme Enduro Tyre gives professional and hardcore enduro riders the traction, control and durability they need for extreme racing. Metzeler developed this competition tyre alongside factory riders to handle demanding terrain and deliver confident performance when conditions get tough.
Benefits:
- Traction and directionality - front tread design ensures precision on straights, braking and cornering ability. The rear knob layout provides great traction and thrust at any lean angle.
- Compliant with technical regulations - all sizes in the range comply with major international regulations, and they are road legal.
- Resistance - features high resistance carcass materials with remarkable dampening characteristics and high performance carbon black fillers in the tread compound, capable of providing both thermal and mechanical resistance.
- Special versions - available in medium, supers oft and extra soft
Tread design:
- The tread pattern is engineered to deliver strong traction, predictable handling and effective performance across demanding enduro terrain.
- Wide knob spacing helps clear mud and dirt from the tread while maintaining effective braking performance.
- Lateral knobs provide stability and lateral support through corners while helping optimise acceleration when exiting turns.
- Alternate knob geometry delivers high levels of traction while maintaining controlled, predictable directionality.
SUPERSOFT (3 x lime lines)
- Tread polymer with a higher ratio of plasticizers than the SOFT version; an even softer rubber with maximum adherence even on the toughest and wet technical passages.
- Very specialised product, it delivers remarkable performance with duration compatible with 1-day racing events.
- The ideal working range starts a few degrees above 0°C (cooler operating conditions will result in poor performance).
- The prolonged employment at high speed on road at any temperature is unadvised.
Furthermore, the Metzeler MCE 6 Days Extreme Enduro Tyre lets riders select the compound that best matches the conditions. Choose a softer specification for technical or wet terrain, for example, or select another compound to suit faster and more demanding sections. As a result, the range gives serious enduro riders the flexibility to adapt their setup for everything from cross-country riding to extreme enduro competition.
