LS2 Full Face Helmet

Vortex, the new incredible flip-up of the LS2 range, reaches and goes beyond the standards of elegance and comfort for a double face helmet. Brilliant and arrogant, the new Vortex looks to guarantee the maximum security and an excellent comfort to the users, but it doesn't disdain fashion and trends. Its strength 100% Carbon Fibre, the same used extensively in the aeronautical industry, Formula 1 and MotoGP, is expression of reliability but also of an absolute lightness, to make it the perfect helmet for the night and day, for the city streets or for a journey to the infinite. LS2 visors are built with 3D Optically Correct A Class Polycarbonate, a space-age polymer with high resistance to impact, that avoids distortion and offers maximum clarity. To ensure good protection the helmet must fit your head to perfection, special attention should be paid to the shell shape design and materials to minimize the effects of a possible impact. It is key to obtain a perfect fit to your head from outside to inside, as well as the shell, the configuration of the EPS liner, which should match closely the human head shape.

Twin Shield System

• LS2s drop-down sun shield helps protect the riders eyes from bright sun, and moves up and out of the way quickly and easily when entering dark tunnels, offering a more comfortable riding experience.

Scratch Resistant:

• Surface treatment of the visor against small abrasive impact.

UV Resistant:

• Treatment of the visor with UV-free clear coating.

Reflective Safety Patch:

• To increase rider safety at night or in low visibility conditions the neck roll has a reflective safety patch that glows in the light of other vehicles headlights.

Sizing: 

To determine which helmet size fits you best, measure the widest circumference of your head using a flexible measuring tape or piece of string; approximately 2cm above your eyebrows and ears as illustrated below. If your head measurement falls between two sizes, it is generally recommended to select the smaller of the two.

For maximum safety and comfort, take note of the following points when fitting the helmet (and securely fastening the chin strap):

• Helmet may take some effort to slide over your head, but should not be overly difficult
• Should fit snuggly around the crown of your head without creating uncomfortable pressure points
• The top padding presses on the top of your head
• The cheek pads press against your cheeks, so that your teeth touch the inside of your cheeks when opening / closing your mouth
• There should be no space to slide two fingers between the helmet and your temple
• Hold the helmet on either side and without moving your head, try to move the helmet up and down, and side to side. It should not be easy to move and you should feel the skin of your head and face being pulled
• Your eyes should be located in the center of the helmet's viewpoint
