From rough singletrack to urban asphalt, the Bell MX-9 Adventure MIPS Dalton Helmet takes you anywhere with confidence. Bell designed this helmet for riders who demand versatility, protection, and everyday usability—without compromise.

First, Bell builds the MX-9 Adventure on a lightweight polycarbonate/ABS shell that balances strength and comfort. Then, Bell adds a scratch-resistant NutraFog II™ visor to deliver clear vision in changing conditions. The flip-up visor fits comfortably over spectacles and performs reliably, even on long or extreme rides. When you want a more open feel, you can remove the visor completely.

Next, the fully adjustable Flying Bridge™ peak improves airflow and stability at speed. At the same time, you can remove the peak to create a clean, low-profile street look. As a result, the helmet transitions effortlessly from off-road trails to daily commuting.

Safety takes centre stage throughout the design. Bell integrates the MIPS® multidirectional impact protection system to help reduce rotational forces during angled impacts. Meanwhile, the Velocity Flow Ventilation™ system actively channels fresh air through the helmet, keeping you cool and focused mile after mile.

Finally, Bell completes the package with practical comfort features. The removable and washable liner keeps the interior fresh, while the padded chin strap and secure D-ring closure deliver a precise, race-ready fit every time you ride.

Sizing

To determine which helmet size fits you best, measure the widest circumference of your head using a flexible measuring tape or piece of string; approximately 2cm above your eyebrows and ears as illustrated below. If your head measurement falls between two sizes, it is generally recommended to select the smaller of the two.

For maximum safety and comfort, take note of the following points when fitting the helmet (and securely fastening the chin strap):

• Helmet may take some effort to slide over your head, but should not be overly difficult
• Should fit snuggly around the crown of your head without creating uncomfortable pressure points
• The top padding presses on the top of your head
• The cheek pads press against your cheeks, so that your teeth touch the inside of your cheeks when opening / closing your mouth
• There should be no space to slide two fingers between the helmet and your temple
• Hold the helmet on either side and without moving your head, try to move the helmet up and down, and side to side. It should not be easy to move and you should feel the skin of your head and face being pulled
• Your eyes should be located in the center of the helmet's viewpoint
